The Ontario guidelines for Summer Day Camps have been released and we are very confident that we can still provide a program that will keep your children active and entertained while keeping their safety a top priority.
While our program will look very different this year, we will work tirelessly to make sure your child will have an amazing experience.
What will camp look like this summer?
In order to comply with the provincial guidelines, unfortunately, we have had to cancel all field trips and swim trips. We will also not be able to run our baking program. We will however still be able to offer our lunch program and extended hours.
In our 10,000 sq. ft., fully air conditioned facility and outdoor green space, the possibilities for fun are endless.
We are looking at this as an opportunity to explore new avenues of entertainment
What we are doing to keep your child safe…
⇒ No one outside of campers and staff will be allowed in the building unless absolutely necessary.
⇒ Drop off and pick up will now be “drive-thru” only.
⇒ Temperature checks will be done on all staff and campers each day.
⇒ Camper will be in groups of 10 total including the counsellor which will remain with your child throughout the week.
⇒ Siblings will be in the same group whenever possible
⇒ Groups will not mingle with other groups.
⇒ Counsellors will wear face masks when social distancing is not an option.
⇒ Campers and staff will sanitize their hands between each activity.
⇒ The Fun Zone will be sanitized with a hospital grade commercial disinfectant between each use and all riding toys have been removed.
⇒ Each group will have their own set of sports equipment to play with in the gym and any shared equipment will be sanitized between use.
⇒ High traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected multiple times a day.
⇒ In the event of a suspected or positive case of Covid-19, we will be following the protocol laid out by Toronto Public Health. You can see these procedures here.
